1. Local documents and room data
When you import, edit, save, or export documents in wwu, your document content is stored locally on the host Mac. The app may create local working copies, autosave data, room history, and exported files so it can support collaboration, recovery, and document export.
wwu does not operate a cloud document storage service for your files unless that capability is clearly introduced in a future version.
2. Local network collaboration
wwu can create a temporary collaboration room on your Mac. Other devices on the same local network may join by using a room link, QR code, or room code that you share.
People who join may view or edit the document according to the permissions you grant. Document changes, participant names, cursor positions, comments, and review changes may be shared within that room over the local network.
Only share a room link or room code with people you trust.
3. AI features
wwu may include AI features. Some AI features may run locally. Others may use third-party model providers or APIs selected or configured by you.
If you choose an online AI model, the prompt, selected document content, or relevant context needed for the request may be sent to that provider for processing under its terms and privacy policy.
If you connect wwu to a local AI endpoint, your content is sent to that endpoint. You are responsible for understanding where it runs and how it handles data.
4. Internet access
wwu may connect to the Internet when you use online AI APIs, external services that you configure, or features requiring network communication. Normal collaboration on a local network does not require a cloud account.
5. Payments
If you purchase wwu through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the payment. The developer does not receive your credit card number or full payment details from Apple.
6. No advertising tracking
wwu does not use your documents for advertising, sell your personal information, or track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.
7. Support information
If you contact the developer for support, the developer may receive your email address, name, screenshots, logs, or other information you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive document content unless it is necessary for support.
8. Your responsibility
You control what documents you import, who you invite to a room, and whether you use local AI or online AI APIs. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share document content with collaborators or AI providers.
9. Changes and contact
This notice may be updated when wwu changes. If important data-handling behavior changes, the notice will be updated in the app or through this product site.
For privacy questions, use the support channel listed on the Mac App Store product page once it is published.
